No matter where you turn these days there seems to be a lot of emphasis placed on physical health. Be it in magazines, printing pictures on canvas artwork, bus bench ads, or television commercials, taking care of our bodies has become a topic of great interest. While it's very important to make sure that we do everything in our power to ensure we are in tip-top physical health that doesn't mean we shouldn't also be focusing on our mental health as well.

However, that's not always the case, as many people exercise in or outside of their home or office for the sole purpose of bettering their physical health. In scenarios like that were physical well-being is put on a pedestal when compared to mental health it can lead to a slippery slope. Your mental health plays just as vital a role in your life, in some cases, even more so, than your physical health and if you ignore it that could lead to some very serious issues or crisis.
