If you don't feel good then you won't think you look good. It's just the way our minds and bodies works. Healthy living is both a physical thing and a state of mind. You've probably heard your wife or girlfriend at some point mention they're having a 'good hair day.' They wouldn't be saying that if they weren't 'feeling it.' You don't need someone telling you that.

A healthy mind equals a healthy body. If you don't take care of yourself, then you won't feel good. That means that a part of looking good is also feeling good which includes taking care of your body and mind. You can do that in a number of ways. One way is by watching the foods you eat that go into your body. If you eat food that makes you bloated, sick, or constipated, you're not going to feel well. If you eat some bad food while on vacation you won't get much fun out of it, will you? So make an effort to watch the foods you eat.

Another thing you can also do to partake in a healthy living lifestyle is exercise regularly. There must be a gym nearby that you can go to. Or even one in your condo building. If not, find other ways to engage in physical activity. Such as going for a walk or playing tennis. If you make exercising fun you won't think of it as exercising.

You should also take some time to relax and get in some 'down time.' Especially if you work a very stressful job. It's not hard getting stressed out about work to the point where you're always worrying. If that's you at your workplace then make an effort to have some alone time. Just a few hours out of the week to yourself is more than enough time for you to re-energize.

Another way to make sure you're living healthy is by going to regular medical check-ups. See your family doctor at least once a month so they can make sure everything's okay with you, both mentally and physically. They might even recommend you to other doctors or treatment facilities. They know what's best for your body so listen to them. Follow the above tips and you'll be well on your way to healthy living.
